Alien Syndrome 90k		Alien Syndrome is a neat little overhead view shooter, where you have to take out various (sometimes disturbingly genitalia-like) aliens.
Castle of Illusion 139k		A neat platformer starring everyone's favorite cheese hound, Mickey Mouse! It has clever graphics and abysmally stupid suicidal enemies.
Choplifter 67k		Who doesn't remember choplifter? Flying along, bombing SAM pods, rescuing hostages. Or, squashing the hostages if you were feeling peckish. This one gets tough!
Cloud master 103k		Cloudmaster is a strange flying shooter - you are a fat guy sitting on a cloud, attacking flying tacos, turtles, and various feminine hygeine products that try to put an end to your despotic cloud commanding. Yes, it's Japanese.
Columns 25k		Match up the brightly colored blocks, get high scores, win fabulous prizes. This one is fun for about 10 minutes a week or so - I like it better than Tetris, anyway.
Double Dragon 96k		A pretty good translation of the arcade game (closer to the arcade version than the Nintendo version). It seems a lot tougher than the arcade, though!
Fantasy Zone 78k		Yet another classic that I remember playing back in the day when I was about 11. Gaily colored shooter, with ludicrous enemies and neat upgrades. A classic!
Ghouls 'n Ghosts 153k		One of the hardest games ever made, Ghouls 'n ghosts comes to the master system. Save the man in his underwear from a grisly fate! Try the NES and the SMS version and see which is your favorite.
Golden Axe 252k		In this so-so translation from the arcade, you take on the role of a warrior sent to break heads with your axe. I remember pumping many bucks worth of quarters into this one in the arcade.
Golden Axe Warrior 143k		A Legend of Zelda clone, Golden Axe Warrior manages to be quite a bit of fun. However... you're after... CRYSTALS!... NOOO!! Make it stop.. I never want to see crystals again.. sob
Golvellius 163k		Golvellius: Valley of Doom! Featuring some of the worst, most distracting backgrounds ever, Golvellius manages to be a fun (if overly-long) adventure. Try it!
Hang On 22k		Motorcycle mania! Who doesn't remember trying to hang on with friends who owned Sega systems?
Mercs 218k		I always liked this one in the arcades. This translation captures most of the feeling of the arcade - though everything does look a bit dirty. Try it out!
Miracle Warriors 160k		This game never received much attention - perhaps the groan-inducing subtitle 'Seal of the Dark Lord' was the cause of this. It's an old school, turn based RPG that's a fair bit of fun.
Monte zuma's Revenge 50k		Diarrhea jokes aside, Montezuma's Revenge is a fun, challenging platformer. You're descending into ancient ruins, searching for keys, avoiding rolling skulls and their ilk.
Out Run 140k		One of the most popular arcade games ever comes to your Sega! This racer makes a worthy translation to the home market. Best of all, you can still select the songs you like!
Phantasy Star 314k		Here it is, kids - unquestionably the best game the SMS had to offer. This game was the reason to buy a Master System. It took a friend and I over a year to beat it. It's not only the best SMS game, it's arguably the best 8-bit game period.
Power Strike 70k		A great shooter for the master system, Power Strike is worth your time if you're seeking a shooter with a neat looking plane. The explosions aren't bad either.
Psycho Fox 97k		A platformer with a neat artistic design, psycho fox is a cut above your average game of this ilk. The enemies and characters are interesting.
Quartet 78k		Not set in a barbershop, quarter features space-jumping and shooting. Decent graphics highlight the adventure. This one will take you a while to complete.
Rampart 110k		One of the original old school titles, Rampart features a strategy game and an action game all in one. You have to place your defense, then guard against various kinds of attacks.
Rastan 128k		This one is similar to Rygar, though I actually like Rastan better. You're a warrior, with a sword, running along and jumping like crazy. You're quite the man (or woman) if you manage to finish this one fair and square!
Shadow Dancer 217k		Think Shinobi with crappier control, lots of cheap deaths, and a dog, and you have Shadow Dancer. I never did get very far in this one. Crouch walking is your friend!
Shinobi 132k		Ah, Shinobi. The quintissential ninja adventure on the master system. Rather slow, the somewhat lazy pace is relaxing and comforting. I wouldn't call this one of the master sytem's best titles, but I always find myself drawn back to it.
Space Harrier 164k		To be honest, Space Harrier was never one of my favorite games. This passable translation doesn't improve my opinion of it that much. Still, it's here because excitedly reading the manual (before I'd played it in the arcade) when my friend picked it up.
Time Soldiers 119k		Time Soldiers was, and still is, one of my favorite arcade games. I remember playing the poo out of it at my local bowling alley. The master system version is surprisingly enjoyable, despite the color limitations.
Wonderboy 77k		Wonderboy, what is the secret to your power? It looks a lot like Hudson's cruddy Adventure Island Titles, but plays quite a little better.
Wonderboy 2 130k		The developers really hit it with this one - quite an improvement over the first one. One of the master system's best platformers.
Wonderboy 3 137k		Wonderboy 3 - the Dragon's Trap! The developers may have been running out of steam by this one - it tries to expand on the opportunities presented in the second one, but comes off as not quite as fun.
Zillion 76k		This one is a little different! It has a plot, and some interesting coding / password entering sections keep things fresh. It's tough, but you'll probably enjoy the trip.
