| Ultima Quest of the Avatar 152k |   | Another great Ultima game. This one had the great 'Skull of Mondain' - with it you could slaughter entire towns. We laughed and laughed at that - it's rare you get to kill the townspeople in Nintendo games. |
| Ultima Warriors of Destiny 130k |   | I didn't really like this Ultima as well - I don't like the isometric perspective at all. Still, there's a lot of fun to be had here, if you can get used to the view style. |
| Uninvited 133k |   | Another spooky adventure game in the vein (it looks just like it) of Shadowgate. It starts with a car crash, and has some amusing situation and item descriptions. |
| Vice Project Doom 169k |   | This game never received much publicity - probably due to the wretched box art. It combines a nice combination of driving/shooting, and platforming elements. It even features a story with cutscenes. |
| Wall Street Kid 69k |   | Teaching young republicans everywhere the value of greed, Wall Street Kid was an amusing, simplistic stock simulator. I never did manage to make that much money, as in real life. |
| Wario's Woods 164k |   | Yet another crazy NES game - Wario's Woods features a lot of weird mini games. It was released late, at the nadir of the NES's cycle. |
| Werewolf the Last Warrior 139k |   | Very little known game from Data East. It's better than most platformers, so it's a shame it wasn't popular. You may need to use FCE Ultra to run this one. |
| Willow 136k |   | A cute movie, and a fun game. If you dreamed of running around as Willow, slaying monsters and talking to townspeople, here's your chance. |
| Winter Games 42k |   | Ah, the hot dog aerials! This game never entertained me for long, but I had friends that would sit and play it for hours. The best thing about it was the fact that the judges would grade you on your performance. |
| Wizardry Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord 101k |   | Tough, tough, tough! These old school RPGs are difficult to get through, and can get repetitive. Still, there's nothing like one if this is your thing - you should at least try a Wizardry if you never have. |
| Wizardry The Knight of Diamonds 136k |   | No, it's not a casino simulator - it's another wizardry game. It looks exactly the same as the first one - it may even be tougher, though. Good, meaty, old school RPG fun. |
| Wizards and Warriors 87k |   | I remember playing this years ago at a friends house, and being quite impressed with it then. It's simple, it's fun, it has magic items - play it! |
| Wizards and Warriors 2 168k |   | Ironsword! I was very excited to get this game. It has some neat music, and expands the world introduced by the first game. |

| Xevious 25k |   | A traditional shooter with a great name! I wanted this game for qutie a while, and never did get it. I used to cut ads for it out of magazines and stick them on my wall. Yes, I was a geek. Dork. Still am. |
| Yo! Noid 127k |   | A game created about pizza. By all rights, it can't be any good. Yet, somehow, it managed to be fun. Capcom really took it to task with the graphics! |
| Zanac 42k |   | Another shooter, this one has a cool looking ship, and, best of all, great explosions! Yes, there's not much story, but if you need a shooter fix, this will do nicely. |
| Zen Inter galactic Ninja 168k |   | Created fairly late in the NES's life cycle, this game features the isometric perspective that I generally hate. It's fun for awhile, but I'd generally rather be playing Ninja Gaiden. |
