| Pirates! 136k |   | One of Sid's greatest, Pirates is a great little game where you sail the seas in search of ships, plunder, and land. It's a faithful adaptation of the original PC game. |
| POW 112k |   | P.O.W. Prisoners of War! I played a lot of this in the arcade - think of Double Dragon with even more ridiculous physics and you have P.O.W.! |
| Pro Wrestling 52k |   | Pro Wrestling! Another game that you owned if you had an NES, even if you didn't like sports games. Somehow, this ends up being the best wrestling game ever, despite the year. Go Starman! |
| Qbert 28k |   | Ah, Qbert! Or, I should say, Q*bert. Hopping around, cursing, and dodging beachballs - much like real life. I found this game in my sack o' games one day, not sure how it got there. So, dilligently, I played! |
| Rad Racer 67k |   | Ah, racing in the NES days. Who can deny the appeal of somehow finding a Volkswagon bug that goes 220 kmh? |
| Rambo 67k |   | Movie tie-ins are bad. There's rarely an exception to this, but Rambo manages to rise above the usual shlock and be pretty interesting. Expect to stab a lot of native wildlife, but you should find yourself entertained regardless. |
| Rampage 68k |   | An arcade favorite, this translation wasn't the best, but it was about the only game in town if you wanted to munch people up and bust down buildings. The worst part about it is the endless 2 second music loop. Arrrrggggh! |
| RC Pro Am 37k |   | Radio Control Racing! What kid doesn't love Radio controlled cars and video games? A perfect match that manages to be a lot of fun. |
| RC Pro Am 2 115k |   | The sequel adds new cars and new features, but somehow doesn't manage to be quite as fun. It seems like they've pulled out the camera a bita, and you don't feel as connected with your vehicle. |
| Renegade 69k |   | Renegade! The classic beat-em-up game. Actually, this game was pretty bad - endless subway tunnels and identical bad guys. However, I remember playing this one with hours with a friend trying to beat it... so in it goes! |
| River City Ransom 121k |   | Often rated as the best NES title ever, River City Ransom is a beat-em-up that is somewhat overrated, but a great ride nonetheless. Just don't expect the second Coming of Christ, and you won't be disappointed. |
| Romance of the Three Kingdoms 129k |   | Deep strategy games that have you managing several aspects of your province. It's one of those games where you play, play, play, and then one day wake up and realize you can't stand the sight of it. Addicting! |
| Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2 278k |   | The sequel to Romance of the Three Kingdoms (you most likely guessed that.) More strategy, more areas, and the same foibles and follies of the first one. |
| Rush 'n Attack 59k |   | An early game, Rush 'n Attack (Get it? Russian attack? Ah, the vestiges of McCarthyism) features you, the blue guys, against a bunch of guys with red hats. More fun than it sounds. |
| Rygar 76k |   | Rygar - the seminal character adventure! This was a pretty tough game, and you'll fight a lot of the same enemies. Still, it's RYGAR, come on! Play it a little for the children's sake. |
