| Gargoyle's Quest 2 153k |   | A neat little action / RPG hybrid that stars you... as the monster! A strange translation offers a few good chuckles. It's worth a download, and has a small if loyal cult following. |

| Gemfire 243k |   | A great strategy game that's often overlooked for the Nobunaga's Ambitions and Romance of the Three Kingdoms of the strategy world. The battles are more interesting that most games of this type. |
| Ghosts 'N Goblins 58k |   | This is one TOUGH game. I never was able to beat it, and I played the heck out of it growing up. It's a likely candidate for 'most broken controllers due to excessive player rage.' Platform jumping and monster killing. |
| GI Joe 214k |   | Come on, you know that you used to watch this old cartoon. This is a surprisingly fun game, with nice character sketches and a neat character swap out dealie. Go Joe! |
| Golgo 13 121k |   | An interesting James Bond style game, it incorporates quite a few cutscenes that advance a moderately entertaining plot. Neat shooting sequences and a good variety of things to do. |
| Gradius 38k |   | One of the classic space shooters makes a showing on the NES. It has a neat upgrade system and good graphics. If you need a shooter fix, this will take care of you well. |
| Guardian Legend 96k |   | Another game that was sadly overlooked, The Guardian Legend stands as one of the best games the NES has to offer. Great shooting sequences combined with good exploration sequences make this one a keeper. |
| Guerrila War 124k |   | If you like Ikari Warriors or Commando, you'll like this game. The graphics are fairly impressive, and it actually tries to have a bare bones story. |
| Hydlide 22k |   | A very early action RPG. I remember renting this when I was absolutely ravenously desperate for an RPG. It's not really much of an RPG, but it does have a certain charm. For 22k, you can spare a peek. |
| Ice Climber 18k |   | A very early game for the NES, Ice Climber still features surprisingly good graphics and amusing sound. You're a ... well, some guy climbing around avoiding puffballs that build bridges. It's.. for 18k, just try it. |
| Ice Hockey 28k |   | How is it that one of the first hockey games manages to be one of the best? I don't even like sports games, and I think that this one is fun. |
| Ikari Warriors 64k |   | Ikari Warriors! What NES era gamer doesn't remember playing this one with a friend? Grenades, slow-moving bullets, machine guns, tanks - it's all here. Give it a spin! |
| Jackal 80k |   | Oh, Jackal! One of the greatest two player co-op games ever. Amusing music, quant motivational dialogue, and a simple but cool upgrade system for your jeep make this a keeper. Plus, you can run people over! How cool is that? |
| Jaws 37k |   | Jaws! A great movie, and a reasonably fun game. This one has a bit more depth (ha ha) than you might expect - plus it has jellyfish and rays. How can you go wrong with that? |

| Kick master 96k |   | GET IN THE GROOVE AND BUST A MOVE! Despite the terrible advertising, this proved to be quite a fun game. Think of Castlevania II with a few more options. You may be bad, but CAN YOU GET RAD? Become a kickmaster! |
| Kid Icarus 63k |   | One of my FAVORITE NES games! Another one with good memories - sheets upon sheets of passwords made with a friend years ago. The reaper dances a saucy dance, you can get a credit card, and you can get turned into an eggplant. Yum! |
