| Batman 157k |   | This is a great little platformer by Sunsoft. As the caped crusader, you're out there punching blue and green things. Nice shots of the batmobile! |
| Blaster Master 159k |   | Blaster Master... ah, Blaster Master. One of my favorite games ever for the NES. Great music, innovative gameplay, cool graphics - if only it had a halfway decent story it would be one of the all time greatest. Play this game! |
| Bubble Bobble 52k |   | One of the original puzzle games for the Nintendo. You're a dinosaur. A fantastic story that starts at the Cave of Monsters! |
| Castlevania 65k |   | Ah, the original whipping platformer. This game spawned so many sequels it's not even funny. Out of the NES ones, I like Castlevania 2 the best. |
| Castlevania 2 76k |   | Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest! This one expanded the Castlevania world considerably, adding some RPG elements. This is my favorite one of the NES Castlevanias. |
| Castlevania 3 246k |   | Wow! The world of Castlevania grows again, as evidinced by a code block several times larger. In some ways, it's a return to the first Castlevania - more emphasis on action every time, all the time. |
| Clash At Demon head 148k |   | Clash at Demonhead is an unusual platformer. There are shops to buy items, insane bosses, and a neat world map to guide your progress. Try this if you want something a little bit different. |
| Contra 88k |   | One of the all time classics. Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Select, Start. |
| Crystalis 218k |   | Do you remember the first game that you purchased with your own hard earned money? As far as I can remember, Crystalis was mine. It's a great game that hasn't received much attention. Think Zelda with a cooler story and more RPG elements! |
| Destiny of an Emporer 160k |   | Destiny of an Emporer is a great strategy/RPG. Think of Dragon Warrior with recruitable generals and an Eastern theme. Good music for the time as well! |
| Double Dragon 141k |   | The original double dragon! Though it's not much like the arcade, it is still a fun little game. Though its sequels are technically and graphically superior, I have always held a fondness for the first one. Click here for my review. |

| Double Dragon 3 151k |   | This is the favored installment of the double dragon series for many people; it ditches the goofy control scheme of the second one and has updated graphics. |
| Dragon Warrior 51K |   | The original dragon warrior - for a lot of people, (myself included), this was our introduction to RPGs. Once we played this, and found the glory of turn-based combat, we never turned back. Try it! |
| Dragon Warrior 2 128k |   | Dragon Warrior II retains the same fun gameplay of the first, but expands with more spells and companions. Bigger and quite a bit better! |
| Dragon Warrior 3 253k |   | Even bigger than Dragon Warrior II, Dragon Warrior III is many people's choice for the best of the series. The series really starts to mature with this installment. |
| Dragon Warrior 4 405k |   | Dragon Warrior IV - in my opinion, probably the best in the series. It introduced a WONDERFUL chapter system that's done nearly perfectly, and more spells and monsters than you can shake a slime at. It's also one of the biggest NES games. |
